Dr. Aiswarya K is an accomplished Ayurveda academician, clinician, researcher, and mentor with over 11 years of clinical experience and 8 years of academic experience in the field of Ayurveda. She is currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Agad Tantra at State Model Government Ayurveda College, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
She completed her B.A.M.S. with First Class distinction from Parassinikkadavu Ayurveda Medical College, Kerala, and pursued her M.D. in Agad Tantra from the prestigious V.P.S.V. Ayurveda College, Kottakal, Kerala. Her academic and clinical interests include Vishachikitsa (Toxicology), Ayurvedic Dermatology, Cosmetology, and research-oriented clinical practice.
Dr. Aiswarya has been actively involved in teaching, research mentoring, academic reviewing, and editorial activities. She serves as Associate Editor of The Ancient Ayurveda and has contributed as a reviewer for various international journals. She has guided startup and research initiatives under institutional innovation programs and has delivered invited lectures and webinars on specialized Ayurvedic subjects, particularly in the areas of toxicology and cosmetology.
Among her notable academic achievements, Dr. Aiswarya was awarded Best Paper Presentation at the International Seminar on Daivavyapashraya Chikitsa and Homatherapy organized by the Center for Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) and Nootan Ayurvedic College & Research Centre, Gujarat, for her presentation on “Mantrachikitsa – Its Relevance in Vishachikitsa.” She is also a recipient of the prestigious Vagbhata Puraskara for excellence in paper presentation.
Her scholarly contributions include research publications, conference presentations, and participation in several national and international academic forums. With a strong commitment to preserving and promoting the wisdom of Ayurveda through education, research, mentorship, and clinical excellence, Dr. Aiswarya K continues to contribute significantly to the advancement of Ayurvedic science at both national and international levels.
