Dr. Ramya completed her post-graduation in Shalakya Tantra, the Ayurvedic discipline dealing with disorders of the eye, ear, nose, throat, and head, from Government Ayurveda Medical College, Bengaluru, where she received academic and clinical exposure related to the specialty.

She is presently pursuing her Ph.D. in Shalakya Tantra at the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), New Delhi. She has a keen interest in academic research, postgraduate teaching, and the clinical application of Shalakya principles in modern practice.
