M.Sc., Ph.D., at present an Assistant Professor, has been teaching Geology since 2008 in the Department of Geology, Gurucharan College, Silchar (Assam). He is the co-author of two books: (i) Geology of North-East India and Sikkim and (ii) Managing Resources for Environmental Sustainability. During his long career, he has come in touch with various resource persons and eminent scientists in interdisciplinary fields, while attending many national and international conferences, seminars, workshops, and refresher and orientation courses. Before joining in Gurucharan College, Dr Singha had worked in other organizations in different capacities. He has published many research articles in national and international journals.
