The present situation of the planet Earth has become serious for all living beings of the world. It has created enormous problems due to unscientific utilization of natural resources for supply of raw-materials to industrialization, social infrastructure building, agricultural and other socio-economic activities to cater the needs of growing population. Consequently, sustainable environment is considered to be a special research agenda to achieve sustainable development goals (SDGs) for healthy living practices of human beings as well as peace, progress and prosperity of human civilization. Unscientific exploitation of natural resources has resulted to detrimental effects on environment, and created problems of global warming, ozone depletion, air pollution, water pollution, severe melting of ices in the Antarctica, draught, flood, famine, extinction of rare species, ecological imbalances, among others. Accordingly, the volume: “Effective Resource Management for Sustainable Environment” enlightens on scientific utilization of resources for developmental activities to safeguard the mother Earth. It covers altogether five Chapters pertaining to sustainable environment in terms of effective resource management potentials. Chapter 1 deals with biological, mechanical and technological treatment of waste management processes; climate change issues and system approach to sustainable environment; built environment and sustainable future; sustainable visions and interrelationships; among others. Chapter 2 coagulates on conceptual background of human-environment interactions to cope up with challenging needs of changing global environment. So, sustainable Earth system as the rejoinder of climate change issues are discussed in terms of environmental norms for the present generations without compromising needs of the future generations. Thus, it will help to increase environmental awareness among the stakeholders while development activities are carried on for human well-being. Chapter 3 analyzes Geosciences and Economics to scientific utilization of natural resources for sustainable development and to reduce environmental crises. Integrated development process (IDP) has been considered by means of interdisciplinary researches and diversity approach. As such, sustainable environment has been given special attention to increase human responsibility for environmental commitment with responsive engagement; to achieve balanced development goals through reform, perform and transform agenda. Discourses on entrepreneurship development activities are made in Chapter 4, to solve problems of unemployment. To reduce environmental risks created by enormous increase of entrepreneurial activities, appropriate guidelines are given through social entrepreneurship, green entrepreneurship, and issues pertaining protective environment. Scientific development potentials are thus reinforced in entrepreneurial activities with measures to preserve, conserve and sustain environmental resources. Sustainable entrepreneurship development (SED) goals are illuminated by means of strategic plans, implementation of programs, and realization of objectives with creative endeavors of all the stakeholders. To strengthen pillars of human living parameters, suggestive measures are given for dynamic nature of entrepreneurship development with reference to policies of national and international authorities. Chapter 5 illuminates the concept of scientific resource management goals in sparkling manner for sustainable environment. Thus, sustainable development paradigms are enriched with backgrounds of scientific research findings, which cover nanotechnology and its application to green industry, quality water, and pollution control measures. Effective management of resources to holistic development purposes are balanced in terms of monitoring, mitigation and remediation of environmental impacts with appropriate measures and adequate guidelines. Sustainable development dynamics rejuvenates environmental safety norms, nurture natural resources and achieve SDGs. The volume will guide to academicians, researchers, students, policymakers, managers, administrators, environmentalists, and others who aspire to success in various competitive examinations.
